Ryuto Asai (1842-1907)

Japanese artist.
He was born in Kyoto in 1842.
He studied the Nanshu painting with Aizan Taniguchi
and Itsuun Kinoshita and Tetsuo Hidaka.
And he learned the calligraphy with Kaioku Nukina.
He painted Sansui and flowers and birds very well.
He died in 1907 at the age of 65.
