He was born in Shiga Pref. in 1834.
Beginning He studied calligraphy with
Sethujo Nakazawa and received the influence
of You Syukei.
Also, he studied calligraphy of China with
Meikaku Kusakabe.
He died in 1905 at the age of 71.
