Koukoku Murata (1830-1912)
Japanese artist. His real name was "Syuku".
He was born in Fukuoka in 1830.
He studied Nanga painting with Tetsuo Somon
and Kaioku Nukina.
He painted Sansui very well.
And calligraphy and poem very well too.
He lived in Osaka.
He died in 1912 at the age of 83.
