Tanryou Murata (1872-1940)

  Japanese artist.
  He was born in Kyoto Pref.
  He studied painting with Toshiki Furusawa
  and Mitate Kawabe .
  He made a study of the old TOSA sect.
  He painted History portrait very well.
  He died in 1940 at the age of 69.
