Sohe Takahashi (1804-1835)

Japanese Nanga artist.
His real name was Ame .
He studied painting with Chikuden Tanomura
He died in 1835 at the age of 30.

Bankei Otsuki (1801-1878)

Confucian/gunnery scholar in the Edo last stage-Meiji.
He is the second son of Bansui Othuki , and the doctor
of the Sendai feudal clan.
He went for the research to Kinki and also Nagasaki
and associated with Baikan Sugai/Aigai Takahisa.
He proposed an open country theory.
He died in 1878 at the age of 77.
