        Ryuko Takaku (1809-1858)

               Japanese artist.
               He was born in Tochigi Pref. in 1809.
               His real name was Onoshiro .
               He studied painting with Shukei Watanabe & Ikkei Ukita .
               He studied the picture of the old TOSA sect.
               He died in 1858 at the age of 49.
