                                                          He was the calligrapher of No.1 in the Edo period.
                                                          He died in 1863 at the age of 86.


                                 Takusai Kobayashi (1831-1916)

                                                         Japanese artist.
                                                         His real name was Kumajiro.
                                                         He was born in Kyoto Pref. in 1831.
                                                         He studied calligraphy with Kaioku Nukina.
                                                         He died in 1916 at the age of 86.
