                  Chikame Ogawa(1881-1971)


                                  Born in Kyoto, His real name was Tazaburo.
                                  Initially, he did Buddhist paintings and studied under
                                  the Buddhist painter's "Keiji Kitamura".
                                  Later, he studied with "Asai Tsyu", a famous teacher
                                  who painted in the Western style.
                                 Tsyufs paintings can be viewed in many museums in Japan.
                                 Ogawa died at the age of 90 in 1971.
