Yusai Sakai (1926-2013)


              The priest of the Shingon sect Hieizan Enryakuji.
              He was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1926.
              He is known as a person who has completed the (Sennichi Kaiho Gyo) twice,
              walking a total of 40,000 kilometers over seven years at Enryakuji Temple on Mt. Hiei.
              Only three people have achieved two Kaihogyo in the history of Mt. Hiei, which has exceeded 1000 years.
              Tendaishu Hokurei Daigyouman Diajyari.
              He died in 2013 at the age of 87.
