Genjin Sugihara (1912-2009)

 Japanese artist.
 He was born in 1912 in Mie Prefecture and lived in Chiba Prefecture.
 He graduated from Kawabata picture school.
 After He learned a picture from Kibou Kodama.
 After "Higure" won a choice in the twelfth Nitten,
 his picture continued exhibiting it at Nitten
 He died in 2009 at the age of 97.
