     Taishun Sato (1890-1975)

            Soto sect Eiheiji temple's the 74th superintendent priest.
            He was born in Aichi Prefecture in 1890.
            After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he studied abroad at Todaiji Temple in Nara,
            and worked as a professor at Komazawa University and Toyo University.
            In 1963, he became Kanshu and the head of the Soto sect.
