Soen Nakagawa (1907-1984)

 The Zen priest of the Rinzai sect Ryutakuji temple.
 and Haiku poet.
 He was born in 1907 .
 He studied Zen with Genpo Yamamoto.
 and He studied Haiku with Dakotsu Iida.
 He opened the Zen Buddhist seminary in the United States.
 He died in 1984 at the age of 77.
