Fumio Nanjyo (1790-1869)

He was born in Gifu Pref.
He was the chief priest of an Ogaki Seiun temple.
He went to Britain and learned from mask mirror.
He left the achievement of the frontiers for
the research of the Buddhism original text.
The bunka university professor, Otani University president,
doctor of literature.
He died in 1869 at the age of 79.
