        Uekawa Kisui (1748|1817)


               A psychologist in the late Edo period.
               He learned from the psychologist Toan Teshima,
               and after the death of his teacher he became the owner of Meirinsha III.
               Shingaku, which was founded by Ishida Baigan,  
               has been developed with the progress of indoctrination activities.
               It was necessary to improve the ideological system, and in that situation,
               Kisui made the theory of shingaku by Cheng-Zhu school.
               His books include "Yonsho Ruikan" (1780) and "Shingaku Shoden-nozu".
